Facts & fundamentals about Crane With several references to Crane Distribution NZ Limited in our latest publications, the editorial team thought it was worth profiling our parent company. While its premium brands are perhaps better known than the Crane name itself, Crane Distribution has an impressive pedigree, a strong financial base and a nationwide team of employees. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australian publicly listed company Crane Group Limited, the New Zealand operation draws on a rich history stretching back 140 years. It represents the premium brands in New Zealand for electrical and plumbing supplies, as well as an emerging presence in safety products, gas and data. With more than 1200 employees and a nationwide network of almost 130 outlets and support services, Crane is a business that's involved in the fundamentals of everyday life. The premium brands of Crane are Mico Plumbing & Pipelines, Corys Electrical, MasterTrade and Equipsafety. With 36 branch operations, Mico is a major supplier of plumbing products, and a specialist supplier of pipes and fittings used for significant building, civil infrastructure and agricultural products. Corys Electrical is a premium distributor of electrical products and services to electrical contractors, industrial users and government, with 29 branches across the country. MasterTrade is a one stop merchant of plumbing and electrical products. With 50 branches nationwide, it is the only network that caters for both trades under one roof. Equipsafety is the most recent development within the brand network. Set up to supply safety equipment to industry and trade, it has its own specialty one-stop shop outlets as well as distributing safety products through all Crane outlets. Providing tailored solutions to improve
the productivity and efficiency of
customers is important to Crane, across
all the brands and its nationwide network
of outlets. |
