An underfloor heating system is to be launched soon by Wavin Plumbing Products.

Under the umbrella of Iplex Pipelines, Wavin alerted the market to the need for an energy efficient and cost-saving underfloor heating system by promoting the concept at its stand at the recent World Plumbing Conference.

Jason Varcoe, the Divisional Manager- Plumbing at Iplex Pipelines NZ Limited, says visitors to the Wavin stand got a

preview of Wavin's "commitment and intention" to introduce an underfloor heating system.

"We are committed to marketing underfloor heating which will offer a package of benefits like increased comfort and energy efficiency."

Jason travelled to Wavin in Germany in March to finalise details of the product launch which will expand the company's already extensive package of plumbing products.

"Part of the reason for introducing our underfloor heating system is to demonstrate that some installations in the past have been economic to install but have not been efficient to run," he says."Paring back the cost of a system does not always make good economic sense when it comes to underfloor heating."

The Wavin package will be available exclusively through the MasterTrade network.

The full rangle of Wavin Plumbing products will be promoted by the Wavin product specialists at the upcoming Build NZ trade show between June 26 and 28 at the Auckland Showgrounds, Greenlane, Auckland.
