Sporting Heroes for Cure Kids
Did you know that 1 out of every 30 babies born in New Zealand will have some genetic birth malformation?
Cure Kids was established over 30 years ago to address the lack of research into life-threatening childhood illnesses in New Zealand. Since then, they have invested over $25 million in medical research, research that has helped save hundreds of young lives and has improved the quality of life for thousands of children.
Crane Distribution is a major supporter for Cure Kids and has committed to raising $100,000 for Cure Kids for our August campaign in 2010.
Since 2005, Crane has raised over $300,000 through the efforts of all team members, many customers and suppliers. We are proud to say we hold the record for the most raised by a Cure Kids partner in a single month!
Our fundraising has been invested in research into childhood illnesses such as haemophilia and Long Q.T. Syndrome (an inherited heart disease) and enabled children and caregivers with long-term incurable illness to travel for a weekend of fun at the Ticket to Hope in Queenstown.
